Storytellers Cup

The Willie Smith's Mid-Winter Festival Storytelling Competition is back! Eight amazing spinners of yarns, including past champions and newcomers, each one vying to claim the handcrafted Huon Pine Cup. It's all about the apples and the magic.

Young Dawkins, who will compere the StoryTelling for both kids and the big kids, is a two-time winner of the Huon Valley Cup. His second collection of poetry, Slow Walk Home, was long-listed for the Tim Thorne Poetry prize in 2022.
